The Cost of Building a Great Future

$1,970: In 2015, we provided free, daily homework help every day in our Project Learn program at a cost of approximately $1,970 per child for the year. Thanks to donor support, we served more than 230 low-income children in Project Learn, and helped them succeed in school!

$40: A Safe Place for Afterschool

  • Pays for a staff member to tutor and supervise a classroom of 16 students
  • Ensures children have the best possible chance to complete homework each day
  • Provides additional reading tutoring to enable learning at all levels and higher reading benchmark scores

$110: Summer Day Camp

  • Covers a full week of fun, educational, engaging camp for a child!
  • Includes a healthy lunch and sports, arts and crafts, games, reading and more
  • Allows parents to work a full day while kids are cared for from 7:30 am-6:30 pm

$785: Engage Children and Teens in Positive Activities

  • Leagues and classes range from Flag Football to Mad Scientist
  • Youth develop confidence, skills, and have supportive mentoring relationships with staff
  • Ongoing coaching and development of Club staff creates a safe environment

$2,000: Help Build our New Clubhouse

  • Supports the cost of architecture and permits, bricks-and-mortar, and landscaping costs
  • Spaces will include classrooms, a technology center, and a full gymnasium
  • Children may take part in classes to learn photography, painting, and cooking healthy foods; attend fun Teen and Tween Nights; or simply relax and enjoy time with friends in a welcoming environment staffed by youth professionals.
